SOL INVICTUS

SOL INVICTUS
by Robert G. Ingersoll

Again we celebrate the victory of Light over Darkness, of the God of day over the hosts of night. Again Samson is victorious over Delilah, and Hercules triumphs once more over Omphale. In the embrace of Isis, Osiris rises from the dead, and the scowling Typhon is defeated once more. Again Apollo, with unerring aim, with his arrow from the quiver of light, destroys the serpent of shadow. This is the festival of Thor, of Baldur and of Prometheus. Again Buddha by a miracle escapes from the tyrant of Madura, Zoroaster foils the King, Bacchus laughs at the rage of Cadmus, and Chrishna eludes the tyrant.

This is the festival of the sun-god, and as such let its observance be universal.

This is the great day of the first religion, the mother of all religions—the worship of the sun.

Sun worship is not only the first, but the most natural and most reasonable of all. And not only the most natural and the most reasonable, but by far the most poetic, the most beautiful.

The sun is the god of benefits, of growth, of life, of warmth, of happiness, of joy. The sun is the
all-seeing, the all-pitying, the all-loving.

This bright God knew no hatred, no malice, never sought for revenge.

All evil qualities were in the breast of the God of darkness, of shadow, of night. And so I say again, this is the festival of light. This is the anniversary of the triumph of the Sun over the hosts of Darkness.

Let us all hope for the triumph of Light—of Right and Reason— for the victory of Fact over Falsehood, of Science over Superstition.

And so hoping, let us celebrate the venerable festival of the Sun.

    Huna or Ho'oponopono

    It is.

Hooponopono is one technique for creating balance in your life or resolving conflicts based on the Huna theory of the relationships between the "three selves."

The three selves of Huna, as Morrnah Simeona uses them in Self I-Dentity through Ho'oponopono are:

    • unihipili
    • uhane
    • aumakua

... and it is the relationship of your three selves with your Creator that she refers to as your "self I-Dentity."

    > or are they two distinct things?

Ho'oponopono is a verb, referring to the Kala process, and Huna is a noun, referring to the metaphysical theory.

According to founder Morrnah Simeona, they are INSEPARABLE.

    > I hope this question isn't too silly.

    Not at all ...

... there is a small group of zealots out there, especially on-line, who learned about Ho'oponopono from the Urban Legend going around the Internet over the past couple of years.

    > I have read a little bit about both and some of it

One's a Noun and the other is a Verb.

If you want to get the truth about Ho'oponopono, get it from THE SOURCE ...

You really can't learn Ho'oponopono without learning

Ho'oponopono means "restoring balance" ... so the forgiveness prayer is a part of the bigger picture.

    > Do we forgive ourselves for creating situations
    > whatever they are?

    Of course.

Creating harmony with your purpose in life

    Aloha y'all,

Many of the people who experience high levels of success in their careers say there is an alignment between what they do and who they are.

They manage to attain that "magical integration" of their purpose in life with what they do in their jobs.

... and that's one reason I posted the "Four Core Questions" on the Huna Ohana yesterday.

The search for your purpose is important ... but for many people, it's no easy task.

Many of us spend our lifetimes searching for our true purpose. We all seek meaning in life. Yet finding and easily living what that is can be elusive.

Look ... regardless of our spiritual or philosophical beliefs, most people agree that when we act in alignment with our values, strengths, and talents you have a sense of heightened energy and flow.

This brings us back to HARMONY.

... when your purpose is aligned with your vocation, you become more driven and motivated in your life.

    AMBITION IS NEVER ENOUGH

For people to really excel in their work, they need more than just ambition. Satisfying goals, attaining numbers, receiving rewards and compensation, and attaining status is rarely enough.

You must be "connected" and totally in-harmony with tour core values and intrinsic motivators in order to be truly fulfilled.

We will go through all the tools you need to easily find your direction at the upcoming training.

    "Know Thyself"

The mid-career phase may also be a time for a wise update to your self-knowledge.

    THE TOOLS FOR SELF-KNOWLEDGE

In order to achieve alignment, integration, and harmony between who you are and what you do you need to have a solid grasp on what lies within.

As the inscription on the ancient Greek Oracle of Delphi says, "Know thyself."

For those of you ready for next month's Ho'oponopono Training ... be sure to honestly answer the "Four Core Questions" for yourself and send them to me privately so we can get you where you want to be ...

... living your life you love how you choose to live it ... in every aspect of life!

This is NOT some "one-size-fits-all" training ... we're keeping it down to a small group in an intimate setting, custom-made for you.

Insight into who you are and what you value can come from many sources.

    The 7 Principals to Ho'oponopono: Part 2

    "The 7 principles of Ho'oponopono"

    1. Pono Maopopo - Harmonious Perspective
    2. Pono Mana'o - Harmonious Thinking
    3. Pono 'Olelo - Harmonious Communication
    4. Pono Hana - Harmonious Action
    5. Pono Kahe'e - Harmonious Practice
    6. Pono Ho'omana'o - Harmonious Observation
    7. Pono Makia - Harmonious Collectedness

    "Pono Mana'o"

Your mind works in images, thoughts, feelings, pictures, self-talk ... even tastes and smells.

If you consciously bring up a harmonious thoughts that bring you, you are training yourself to develop Pono Mana'o ... Harmonious Thinking.

By frequently thinking and pondering thoughts that bring up a feeling of peace, tranquility, happiness, joy, calmness, etc., you're strengthening this habit in your mind!

You can see, feel, hear the thoughts you revivify.

By doing so, you consciously replace un-harmonious thinking with other uplifting thoughts, you are purposefully feeling that harmonious, uplifting thought.

    So ...

It is necessary to develop the skill of consciously bringing up tranquil, peaceful images in one form or another so happiness and joy will permeate all of your activities.

    This builds "Pono Maopopo."

Any distraction that pulls your attention away from PONO should be let go ... and then by re-directing your mind back peaceful and tranquil scenes develops Harmonious Thinking.

    How?

Because those thoughts are perceived and acted upon in an impersonal way ... Harmonious Perspective.

In contrast ... thoughts of sadness, anxiety, frustration, dissatisfaction, fear, criticism, pride,
worry, etc., causes you to want to control to fight with what you are perceiving.

That pulls you away from the present moment, and you're likely to start thinking of all of the reasons that you don't like what you're thinking about.

... and that puts you out-of-harmony with your present moment.

Any time you try to fight the the present moment, it causes DIS-HARMONY ...

... and it causes pain and suffering!

This is how the first two principles of Ho'oponopono work together.

"Pono Maopopo" is the perspective of everything that arises being an impersonal process to be observed.

When you're out-of-harmony with the present moment you're taking whatever arises personally, and that can create tension.

Any time you take a thought personally, you will try to control it, fight with it, and force it to be what it is not ... causing dis-harmony.

    Instead ...

... gently relax and let go of that thought.

Gently replace it with a Harmonious Thinking.

Letting go of those things you take personally, and then relaxing and substituting them with uplifting thoughts leads you to a clearer perspective ...

... being in harmony with the present moment.

    Pono Maopopo.

    Cool ...

... it's fully within your power to bring out the best behavior in people who are at their worst!

And you can learn to do it without triggering any "red flags."

Now ... I found a book about ten years ago that teaches the principles of of Ho'oponopono for the modern office environment.

... and everything's framed in terms of "interpersonal skills" so you can choose your wording and get the results you really want.

Realizing that changing oneself is more realistic than changing the behavior of others, the authors provide a variety of "communicative skills" you can use for turning conflict into cooperation.

    Oops!

    ... you mean "there's more?"

    There is!

Like the proper roll of the Uhane and "intention."

    Uhane?

    "What's Uhane?"

"That's just the conscious, rational mind, right?"

    Not even close!

... there's way more to it.

And that's just ONE of the "Master Keys" our Kumu Morrnah Simeona gave us in "The Esoteric Code of the Kahuna."

    An Ancient Hawaiian saying ...

"A ohe pau ko ike i kou halau"

... meaning "Think not that all wisdom is in your school."

    A fascinating story ...

    "The House of Teave"

Long ago ... our brother King Kalakaua summoned all of the most accomplished Kahuna Class from throughout the islands to the palace.

High Temple Priests skilled in the arts of divination, philosophers, historians, doctors of spiritual medicine, etc.

The secret knowledge passed down orally in the priesthood through the generations was finally recorded in writing and locked away in the King's palace.

    Then ...

On January 17, 1893 ... the day Kalakaua's sister, Queen Liliokalani was dethroned ... drug dealers and smugglers broke in to the palace and burned the former King's filing room.

All the documents were reduced to ashes.

Officially ... "no one knows" how the fire got started ... and it did NOT affect ANY other section of the palace.

Only Nana Mary Julia Glennie Bush survived to preserve the "secret treasure" of the Hamatua strong-hold.

    So ...

    ... stay with me.

    Because "we got it!"

And I give thanks to our Nana Mary for preserving this, our sacred treasure ...

I give thanks to Max Freedom Long for working diligently to unlock the "secret code" our Ancient Kahuna delivered to "the white man" for the purpose of preserving these "gems of poetical beauty" so that their esoteric significance could one day be revealed ...

I give thanks to Ta Ruahine ... for drawing our code in the rough sands by the sea, where the tides ebb and flow ...

I give thanks to Leinani Melville ... who alone preserved the Lost Secrets of the Kahuna he received from Nana Mary and Ta Ruahine ... for unveiling a part of "the mask" in his public writings ...

... and I thank Morrnah Simeona for delivering the only existing copy of the "Lost and Hidden Secrets of the Esoteric Code of the Kahuna" to the trusted "True Legacy of the Kahuna" ...

I give thanks to Dad for giving me a copy of that secret manuscript.

    "Thank you!"

    The Kahuna Motto:

    "Conceal in Secrecy."

    "Preserve in Silence."

"Disguise our Inner Teachings with a False Outer Mask."

"Those who are "born into our house" are entitled to know the secrets of our house."

"Those who do NOT belong are not entitled to know what we know."

    And ...

... as it says "above the door" to "our house" ...

    "Ahuwale Ka Nane Huna!" ...

"Let that which is unknown become known."

Because ... Many "new" exciting things will become known over the next couple of months.

And when the student is ready ...

... the teacher will appear before you.

    The 7 principles of Ho'oponopono

    "Ho'oponopono: Making Things Right!"

... throughout ALL OF YOUR LIFE.

Right Thinking + Right ACTION = Right Future.

The first step in any healing technique, whether of physical illness, mental or emotional trauma, or financial or social difficulty, always kala (cleansing).

That can mean clearing out mental and emotional blocks, purging the body of built-up toxins from unassimilated chemicals and improper diet, or getting rid of such mental garbage as jealousy or anger or "thinking poor."

Any problem requires "setting things right" before it is possible to make positive progress in regaining a healthy mind, body, bank account, or social inter-relationship.

The Hawaiian word for this basic Huna process is HO'OPONOPONO. *

    "A More Balanced Perspective"

For our purposed, using the word "right" may NOT work best.

    ... because Ho'oponopono also means

    "Creating Harmony"

    "Creating Balance"

    Now ...

"PONO" is one of the most important words in Huna.

In just one system of traditional initiations I received they would spend 29 weeks teaching this
    concept alone!

... so I've discovered that "right" is definitely NOT your best translation for "pono."

    "Not even close!"

We'll use "Harmonious" or "Balanced" instead.

    OK?

So you guys on The Huna Ohana group can give us your experiences using these terms.

    ... Energy Test it!

    "Why?"

Because, in "Western Culture," when they used the word "right," it automatically brought-up the exact to opposite to mind.

    "That's wrong!" ;->

We really like "Harmony" ... we really like "Balance," right?

    Now.

The question you can ask yourself as you're living your life is ...

    "Am I really
    being in harmony
    with what is happening
    in the present moment
    right now?"

This question can help you to remember to stay on "The Mystic Path" as you are living Ho'oponopono.

    Onward.

    "The 7 principles of Ho'oponopono"

    1. Pono Maopopo - Harmonious Perspective
    2. Pono Mana'o - Harmonious Thinking
    3. Pono 'Olelo - Harmonious Communication
    4. Pono Hana - Harmonious Action
    5. Pono Kahe'e - Harmonious Practice
    6. Pono Ho'omana'o - Harmonious Observation
    7. Pono Makia - Harmonious Collectedness

    Introduction

    "Pono Maopopo"

The reason Harmonious Perspective is the starting point in living PONO is because it sets the tone of your entire Path.

"Pono Maopopo" is the perspective of everything that arises being an impersonal process to be observed.

When you're out-of-harmony with the present moment you're taking whatever arises personally, and that can create tension.

Anytime you try to fight the the present moment, it causes DIS-HARMONY ...

... and it causes great pain and suffering!

That is the "First Noble Truth" of Ho'oponopono.

So ... before we go over all seven principles, you will want to "check-them- out" ... asking yourself,

    "How can you
    apply the 7 principles
    to your daily Huna practice?"

Today, you can go ahead and "do that."

    Search the deeper code meanings.

... and you can get started developing "Pono Maopopo" by going to the Huna Ohana archives at http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Huna-Ohana/messages and reading "Waking Up to a World of Wonders"

Ho oponopono DVDs by Morrnah Simeona

    Hooponopono or Ho oponopono

Ho'oponopono is just one small part of the greater Huna picture.

The technique adopted in Zero Limits is a good place to get started, but it's still your Kindergarten Metaphysics genre adopted for pop culture.

Ho'oponopono is a technique that can work for you ... another "tool" you can keep in your "toolbox."

    So ...

Hew Len did study with Morrnah Simeona as well, so I'm thinking of releasing Morrnah's DVDs to make "the rest of the story" available to everyone!

There's always more you can learn from.

    Why We Need to Forgive

I was interested to read the June 2006 Huna Work article on Ho‘oponopono before I attended a refresher course on Laser Reiki energy healing last fall. It seemed a strange coincidence – or was it the universe at work? – that the main focus of this energy healing training session was on forgiveness. The teachers of the group even referenced an article on Ho‘oponopono written by new age guru Joe Vitale that ran in alternative journal “The Open Line” (Vol. 20, issue 10, 2006).

In it he tells the story of a therapist who cured a ward of criminally insane patients – without seeing any of them – through the process of Ho‘oponopono, or forgiveness.

As an energy healer who practices Laser Reiki and Huna, I’ve found that many of the blockages my clients have are the result of the hurt, anger, or even hate he or she may be carrying from a past event. And sometimes, no matter how hard I try to clear the blockages energetically, they won’t budge. That’s usually when I ask the Life Manager (the client’s subconscious self) if the client needs to forgive someone, or even him- or herself. Almost always the answer is yes.

Forgiving someone who has hurt us deeply is extremely difficult for most people. I think the reason is because we’ve been raised to believe that when we forgive someone, we make what they did okay.

But if we look to the Huna beliefs of the ancient Hawaiians, we see that forgiveness, or Ho‘oponopono, is really about letting go of our hurt and anger and loving ourselves in order to heal.

On the energy plane, negative emotions are like hooks in the energy field that tie us to the person who wronged us. The more emotion we give to it, the stronger the hooks and the trauma get. By forgiving the person who wronged you, what you are really doing is draining the emotional charge from that incident or relationship. It sends a signal to your subconscious that you are ready to let go of it and move on. When we can let these deep hurts and angers go instead of hanging onto them, we free ourselves for new and better experiences. When we hold onto this stuff, we tend to relive the pain and then we fear it will happen again. The more we focus on it and worry about it and put emotion into it, the more we tend to attract it into our life. This then becomes a viciously repeating cycle of reinforcement.

Now comes the really difficult part for most of us to accept – if everything is energy and intention and we can create our reality – then on some level (karmic or otherwise) we chose to have that experience for our personal growth. This is hard to take, because who would consciously choose to have painful events in their life? If there is an afterlife and we’ve all lived before, then maybe we made those choices so that we could experience the entire spectrum of human triumphs and failings. Maybe in a past life we were the aggressor and we now want to see what it feels like to be the victim. Or maybe we made a contract to overcome trauma in this life, so that we could gain strength and the wisdom for future greatness. That is why it is so important that we also forgive ourselves for choosing to do this.

By forgiving yourself and others for your experiences, you acknowledge that it happened but you are choosing to let it go. You alert the subconscious that you choose never to experience this again. When you do this you open the way for positive energy to enter your life and for you to create better experiences for yourself in the future.

Ho'oponopono: more perspecives on "making things right!"

    HO`OPONOPONO

    Making Things RIGHT!

    LEARN HOW TO...

    • • Make things RIGHT in your Health • • Make things RIGHT in your Career • • Make things RIGHT in your Family • • Make things RIGHT in your Personal Growth • • Make things RIGHT in your Relationships • • Make things RIGHT in your Finances • • Make things RIGHT in your Spiritual Life • • Make things RIGHT in your Life • • Make things RIGHT in your Community • • Take Your Life Back • • Fix Your Fears • • Get Answers to Your Personal Questions • •

    "Ho`oponopono: Making Things Right!"

... throughout ALL OF YOUR LIFE.

The Hawaiian word for this process is HO`OPONOPONO.

But the term refers to a specific, ancient method of problem-solving that was a prerequisite for any healing procedure.

This was done before the doctor arrived ... and it was done by all the people concerned with the problem.

The traditional procedure involved the `OHANA — the entire family unit.

That meant every member of the family—from the youngest child to the eldest great-grandparent, the aunts and uncles, and cousins-from the nearest relative to the thirty-second cousin twice removed! When the doctor arrived—the Kahuna La`au Lapa`au—the first question traditionally was: "Have you done the HO`OPONOPONO?"

I must emphasize the fact that HO`OPONOPONO was a family-related problem-solving technique. The Hawaiians have always been and still are keenly family-oriented and all members of families had a closeness that is not easy to understand in our "modern" era of isolated family members. All members of the family knew each other intimately. The time of HO`OPONO- PONO was not a "family reunion" situation, in which members of the family have not seen each other since the last gathering a year or more before. The kahuna was also the family-doctor variety that knew each member of the family and so understood their problems.

In order to understand the problem-solving technique in its traditional Hawaiian setting, you may need to read some descriptions and examples, which cannot be included here because of limitation of space. The best source is Nana I Ke Kumu (Look to the Source), Vol. I, by Mary Kawena Pukui, E. W. Haertig, and Catherine A. Lee. This book, with its companion volume, are excellent sources of information on every aspect of ancient Hawaiian life and thought. There is a good description of HO`OPONOPONO in Vol. I.

Another source for information on the tradition of on HO`OPONOPONO is Kahuna La`au Lapa`au: The Practice of Hawaiian Herbal Medicine , by June Gutmanis. Chapter Three (The Diagnosis) has a good description of HO`OPONOPONO. The serious nature of this ritual may be illustrated by the following quotation (p. 19):

    __________

The "setting right" with both god and man aided in the restoring of mana and cleared the way for whatever medical treatment the kahuna might prescribe.

Whether as part of a medical treatment or as a ritual to restore social order, the call to ho'oponopono might be made by an individual who had acted improperly or had been wronged by another, by the elder of the troubled family, or by a kahuna. Those involved on both sides of the problem had to be present for the ho'oponopono. If any were not present the effort of the ritual would be nothing more than that of the council ('aha) meeting and would not have the psychic and setting right power of a true ho'oponopono. Everyone, both young and old, had to be in agreement as to the seeking of a solution, to accepting it, and to acting accordingly after the ho'oponopono was over. Failure to keep promises made during the ritual was one of the most serious offenses against the gods and the person who broke such a promise would soon suffer retaliation from the gods.
    __________

An important facet of the technique is the Hawaiian belief that forgiveness MUST be given, if asked for. Forgiveness in Hawaiian is kala and means clearing the path (aka cord) between the two persons involve. It also involves RELEASING, so that the difficulty is completely eradicated, not merely repressed.

The discussion in Nana I Ke Kumu concludes with this summary:
    _________

Hawaii's family therapy is the sum total of many parts: prayer, discussion, arbitration, contrition, restitution, forgiveness and releasing, and the thorough looking into layers of action and feeling called mahiki. It is this sum total of its many beneficial parts that makes ho'oponopono a useful, effective method to remedy and even prevent family discord.… Ho'oponopono may well be one of the soundest methods to restore and maintain good family relationships that any society has ever devised."
    __________

Of what use is HO`OPONOPONO to us today?

Is it a practical method that can be used by modern-day Hawaiians, or even non-Hawaiians? It is significant, I think, that the authors of Nana I Ke Kumu observed that "when Christianity came in, more than a century ago, ho`oponopono went out."

The reason is clear: it was thought that invocations to "pagan gods" such as akua and aumakua were "sinful" and therefore the practice was banned as soon as the missionaries managed to get themselves into power.

Morrnah N. Simeona, a modern-day kahuna in the old tradition, in the 1980's developed the technique of HO`OPONOPONO into a form that can be used today. It retains many of the ancient Hawaiian traditional elements.

The idea of `OHANA (family) has been expanded to mean a group of closely related or associated persons —all the persons involved in a problem. This version of the technique was taught at the first Huna World Convention in Hawaii (1980) sponsored by the Huna Fellowship, of which Morrnah was the coordinator. Morrnah conducted many of these sessions with groups who wanted to work out disagreements or have other problems that have come to a stalemate. All persons involved in the problem must participate, and once the session has started, no one is allowed to leave the group for any reason. Often the procedure takes many hours; sometimes several days.

    Keep studying!

    A Little Prayer for Ho'oponopono

    Making Things Right
    and Restoring Balance!

This is the famous "Huna Prayer"
    by Max Freedom Long

If I have hurt someone today
With thought or word or deed,
Or failed another in his need,
    I now repent.

If I can take those steps again,
    Tomorrow will I make amends
And heal with love those hurts.
    I do this pledge.

And if a hurt has struck me deep
    And no amends are made,
I ask the light to balance all.
I count the debt as paid.

    Parental Spirits whom I love,
And who I know love me,
Reach through the door I open wide.
Make clear my path to Thee.

    Buddhist Zange Compliments Ho'oponopono

As in Huna, the Buddhist practice of apology recognizes having full responsibility (e.g. for an adverse situation or a difficult person), sees it as a learning opportunity, gratitude for the learning opportunity and situation as a whole, appreciation for one's life and circumstances at the time, especially awareness of Buddhism, looks at "hooks" that dragged whatever it was into your life and resolves to get rid of those, and sincerely wishes well for everyone involved, before one's own personal prayer is even considered.

    --Stuart York

    Zange (Buddhist Apology)

    APPRECIATION:
    • For having the object of devotion
    • For being able to change my karma
    • For being alive at this time
    • For all the people around me
    • For everything being a teacher to me

    SELF-REALIZATION:

    • Realize again that for every external cause there is first an internal cause
    • Every hurt, anger, frustration, irritation, painful situation that occurs is my responsibility
    • My karma forced that to happen, or forced them to behave that way
    • I TURN THIS POISON INTO MEDICINE
    • Become aware of my own internal "hooks" that drew such an experience to me.
    • I, ALONE am responsible for raising my life condition

    APOLOGY:

    • For current slander in THOUGHT, WORD, and ACTION
    • Let me not want to do it anymore
    • The sacred altruism: chant for the health and well being of the person(s) involved and that they will deepen their faith. Ask the object of your devotion, "What can I do to rectify the situation?"

    DETERMINATION:

    • To work harder for World Peace and Transformation
    • To create value in the area of family relations, school, job, or activities

ONLY AFTER CHANTING FOR ALL OF THE ABOVE SHOULD YOU CHANT FOR WHAT YOU DESIRE OR WANT TO CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE

Huna Healers providing daily group Ho'oponopono since 1948!

    A Network of Healing Energy
    is Embracing the Planet Daily

"Restoring the Balance" by working together!

The TMHG altar above was established ... not just as the "focal point" ... but it is consecrated to act as a vortex into which healing energy from around the world is "poured-in" daily from the senders and then radiated out to the receivers.

The little ring of figures represents the inter-connectedness of us all, and it is the lava stone and it's counterparts on the "higher planes" which affects the distribution of vital force.

    We are all connected.

Go back and read "Huna Psychology" about the aka connection.

Now ... healing energy (mana) is sent every hour on the hour, because you might say "the light glows upon the altar without ceasing" ... even though I have previously officiated over the TMHG only at 9pm central daily.

It is radiating at all times.

Now ... because we have so many Huna Ohana members from EVERY TIME ZONE on the planet ... I am personally officiating at 9am and 9pm daily to ensure there is a more thorough and effective distribution of healing energy TWICE DAILY.

Read the Basic "How-To" Article at:

    http://huna.blogspot.com/2006/09/huna-world-wide-healing-network.html

The Healing Energy is Balancing and Benevolent.

You can be sure that the ENERGY IS BENEVOLENT because it is FILTERED ... and there are only THREE GRAND MASTERS who know how to do the filtering, and ONLY a Grand Master may officiate the TMHG sessions.

Max used HIS BODY as the focal point for the TMHG!!! ... and he didn't filter the energy.

That's why I emphasize for TMHG participants who do sending to send MANA ONLY!

Max Freedom Long literally gave his life to heal people.

But NOW we have a blessed stone from the Kame'ekua Ohana as the focal point and three Grand Masters who know how to filter the energy properly and set-up the appropriate energy forms so the altar radiates mana like it's supposed to.

    ... like a daily world-wide Ho'oponopno session.

    Creating Harmony

    The I’o Process

To Balance When There is Conflict.

    Before time, there was I'o.

I’o is the infinite source of creation.

Also considered a God … “the God who created the Gods” … in some traditions, the name was considered too sacred to be spoken aloud.

In the Kumulipo … the Hawaiian “creation chant” … I'o is the un-manifest source that preceded creation, and from which the universe was created.

I’o is the “infinite potential” … the infinite source of creation.

    Ho’oponopono.

The I’o Process is a simple and powerful technique for using the “infinite potential” of I’o for restoring balance. By doing this process you will gain new perspective ... create harmony ... smooth-out relationships ... and you can even turn an enemy into a friend.

    It is always "win-win!"

Here is the basic process you can use when there is conflict with an individual.

You will imagine looking at the situation from three points-of-view.

    1. Yours.

    2. The other person’s.

    3. And “rising above it all” … from the highest perspective.

    Now …

    The I’o Process

    Begin your session.

Relax your body from head to toe.

    Relax your mind.

    Fully experience your point-of-view.

    · What kind of person are you?
    · What are your beliefs?
    · What are the possible resolutions?
    · What is happening?
    · What is your state of mind?

Be totally “here” and pay attention to your positive intentions and your highest purpose for resolving this issue.

    Record your experience.

    Then …

Imagine “stepping out of yourself” …

… and going over … and “stepping into” the other person.

Imagine experiencing this different point-of-view as if you are them … remembering people always have positive reasons for their behavior and they are always making the best decisions they can with the resources they have available.

    Fully experience their point-of-view.

    · What kind of person are you?
    · What are your beliefs?
    · What are the possible resolutions?
    · What is happening?
    · What is your state of mind?

Be totally “here” and pay attention to your positive intentions and your highest purpose for resolving this issue.

    Record your experience.

    Then …

Imagine “stepping out of their body” …

… going out … and rising above it all.

Keep rising higher and higher until you reach the highest perspective …

… the “unlimited potential” of I’o.

Pretend as if you have become I’o and you are looking down at the two people from I’o’s point-of-view.

“As I’o” … take a deep breath, and inhale both people into you.

Allow the resolution to develop … or if nothing is reached consciously, then you can know the Universe will provide the answer.

Then exhale the individuals back down to earth.

    Record your experiences.

Return to your body … and end your session feeling great.

    Ho'oponopono: Forgiving Our Self

    Forgiving Our Self
Awakening Through The Power of Huna
    by Belinda Farrell

Why We Must Forgive Our Self:

Unforgiveness is the greatest toxin we have stored in the body. The body knows how to be whole. Our negative thoughts "gum up" the neuro-pathways and create dis-ease or dis-harmony among the cells. The negative emotion of "anger" releases a chemical that bruises the heart muscle. "Inappropriate fear" compromises our immune system and lowers our healing energy. Every negative thought you have about yourself or others creates a cord or thread (called "aka" in Hawaiian) that wraps around you, blocking you from Light and keeping you in darkness. The Egyptians understood this concept and diagrammed these cords in their hieroglyphics. The Bible references these cords as "sacred strings" or "webs." Just imagine how many cords you may have accumulated in your lifetime, simply because modern-day society doesn’t even acknowledge their existence.

If no one had taught you how to brush your teeth, can you imagine how much food and decay would have built up in your mouth over the years?

Similarly, the ancient Hawaiians would not let the negative thoughts accumulate in the body. They practiced a cord-cutting process each day to forgive themselves and others, and restore the body to harmony. They shared a common, lifelong purpose—to connect with higher levels of Creation.

How We Can Forgive Our Self:
(from side 2 of the tape Chant and Forgiveness…A Huna Odyssey)

Close your eyes. Visualize and mentally create a stage below you. You might choose to be outside on a platform, in a tree, or on a hillside looking diagonally down on the stage. Take some time to picture this. You could choose to be in a projection booth of a theater looking down upon a stage. The setting doesn’t matter. It is only important that you feel comfortable creating this picture.

Invite people onto the stage that you want to make amends with, starting with your mother and father. If they have already passed over, invite them to come back and be on the stage. Remember, this is the concept you carry of your mother and father inside yourself. Ask them this question…"Do you support me today in my magnificent connection with Higher Self?" If you get a distinct "yes" answer, it means there is no doubting dialogue. Give them a hug and let them go. If there is doubt or discord within you, keep them on the stage. You may notice cords that have formed from your umbilicus to the people on the stage. The cords represent our negative perceptions and illusions about them that were formed in the past, when we did not have the tools, resources or wisdom that we have today.

Next, ask your "ancestors" to come onto the stage. You may not even know these people, but you are carrying their DNA from all the negative emotions that preceded you. Your decision to stop these patterns is enough. Again, ask yourself the question…"Do you support me today in my magnificent connection with Higher Self?" If you get a "yes" answer, then give them a hug and let them go. If not, keep them on the stage.

To this group you will add your grandparents, brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, step-parents, step-children, and anyone who was considered "family." Ask them the question…

"Do you support me today in my magnificent connection with Higher Self." If you get a "yes" answer, give them a hug and let them go. If not, then keep them on stage.

In the next group are your "ex’s:" ex-husband, ex-wife, ex-boyfriend, ex-girlfriend, ex-in-law’s…Follow through with the same question.

Authority figures comprise the next group: Teachers, mentors from the past or present, then friends (old friends and new ones), your present love relationship, if there is one, clients from your work place with whom you feel some disharmony, anyone who has "passed over" with whom you wish to make amends, or anyone else you can think of who needs to be there. Ask the question: "Do you support me today in my magnificent connection with Higher Self?"

Another group are "unborn spirits." If you have ever been through an abortion or miscarriage, you may put that spirit on the stage as well. Ask the same question…

Then put your own self image on the stage. This is the person you perceive yourself to be, with all your obsessions and misconceptions about yourself. Anything you have said or felt in a negative way about yourself has wrapped a cord around you, almost like the inside of a golf ball. This is only the person you have invested your electromagnetic energy into. The real you is on the platform above the stage. Ask your self image if you have been paid back in dividends based on that investment. You might see yourself down on the stage with cords that represent: "I’m not loved", "I’m not worthy," "I’m too fat," "I’m not smart enough," etc…..You get to look down at what you have created from your unconscious choices. Now it is time to call your Spirit back.

Using your inner vision look deep inside your Unconscious Mind and Spiritual Body to see if there are any dark or gray areas that have not moved. This is NOT your Unconscious Mind. It is dense energy that has superimposed itself over your unconscious mind, when you were in a weaker state or were in conflict. If you ever used drugs, alcohol or nicotine excessively in the past, or went through a significant emotional experience that was not resolved such as rape or incest, then the body weakens, allowing "lower level" energies to be attracted into the body. Envision these "dark forms" on the stage as well. In the tape, I talk to these energies in Hawaiian, and your Conscious Mind will not understand But your unconscious mind will understand. It is inappropriate and unnecessary for these energies to stay here any longer. They have misunderstood their purpose for being here. All of our parts want to evolve to a higher level. They are only stuck here until they get a guide to take them to the Light. During the tape you will be guided, through the chants, to send these darker energies to the Light where they will evolve to a Higher form. To allow them to remain here only delays your own evolution and their ascendance to a higher level.

YOUR STRONG INTENTION TO SEND THEM TO THE LIGHT IS THE PRAYER THAT WILL LIGHT THEIR WAY…

Take a deep breath and imagine an infinite source of Light, Love, and Healing coming down from the top of your head, emanating through your mind and heart. Sending it down to ALL THE PEOPLE ON THE STAGE…EVEN THE DARK FORMS, until they are completely surrounded with this Light. This is the Light that comes from your Higher Self down to their Higher Selves. Remember, everyone has a Higher Self.

Now prepare to have a conversation with them. It can be as simple as, "I forgive you." Feel yourself forgiving them. And hear back from them, "I forgive you." Ask your Higher Self to do this for you…ASK and you shall receive. It can be done very quickly. And as you do so, visualize yourself taking a cutting instrument of your choice, a knife, scissors, chain saw and cut the cords counter clockwise, spinning the cutting instrument around you so the blade cuts all the cords around you connecting you to the people on the stage. Then watch all the people simply float away.

Tuck the left-over cords back inside yourself, for you need all your own energy to heal your body. You are freeing yourself from your agenda with these people so that you can both grow and evolve on your own. When you cut the cords, all that is left is DIVINE LOVE. You can never cut the cord of LOVE, because LOVE is all there is in this world. Everything else is just a perception or an illusion.

If a person does not release from you or stays upon the stage, there is something within you that you are not forgiving. If you want to raise your vibrations and move forward, then again ask the Higher Self to send down the Infinite Source of Light and Healing to this person. Offer your true forgiveness…the person you are forgiving is yourself. Take a cutting instrument and cut the cords. When you meet with this person or any of the others, you’ll be able to deal with whatever issues you have between you from a higher perspective.

It is recommended that you cut cords every day to call your Spirit back and return to present time.

You are a Being of Light and you DO deserve forgiveness. Call your Spirit back! As a Being of Light, you are a channel for the Light. You have a mission in this lifetime to return to that Love inside of you…You deserve to receive Divine Love. This is your natural state.

    WELCOME HOME.

    Ho'oponopono Release

    Ho'oponopono
    Releasing Aka Cords
    by Vilik

A while back, during a list discussion of cutting aka cords, I said I was experimenting with a different method of releasing cords that I was "making up".

Vince suggested I give it a try and report back.

Soooo....here I am, report in hand!

I get such benefit from working with this aka cord release. It has evolved and I'm sure will keep evolving, but I feel confident enough of it now to share it.

First of all, in case anyone is new to this, aka cords are threads, filaments or cords of our own energy, which we automatically send out and "attach" to
everything. But those attachments can drain us. So the recommendation is to cut them. But I didn't like the idea of cutting a part of myself. Following are the steps of a release which, in the main, doesn't use cutting.

    Aka Cord Release

    1. I see the person sitting across a small field from me.

    2. I surround myself with white light, to cleanse the energy as it flows back to me.

    3. I imagine drawing my own aka cords back into my body, through the white light.

    4. I imagine releasing the other person's cords from me, and see them snap back to the person like a retractable pet leash.

    5. I go back and forth between 3 and 4 until it "feels right."

    6. I take an imaginary sword and swish it all around myself, cutting any threads that are remaining.

    7. I imagine a supple shining golden line, a little bigger than a thread but smaller than a cord, going from my heart to the heart of the other person. I
say and feel, "I love, thank and respect you." If I feel this line really connect, I know the other work "took".

    8. I imagine that same energy coming back from the highest self of the other person.

    9. I imagine us bowing to each other.

    10. I release the person, often seeing them go up in a balloon into the light.

Several things happen in this release for me, besides separating energy.

One is that I "take back my power". Another is that I see what's been going on in the relationship or connection. And that's pretty fascinating. Often
the connection is not what I thought it would be, and the way the release happens isn't either.

I've played around with this, going back to release ex's, etc. I find the most energy in current situations. And I find that my relationship to each person changes as I do the release with them, sometimes doing it more than once.

It can take time...it isn't always or even often a quickie. For me, the sensations as I release are very pleasant. I often do it lying in bed, and I can feel
my body relax deeply as the release "takes."

I thought I'd give a couple examples of releases I just did.

The first was with a friend who sent me an email with a "zinger" in it. My feelings were hurt, and none of the options of response I could think of felt right.
So I went through the release steps, and I was surprised to see that my own aka cord connect was huge...so huge I couldn't seem to pull it back.

I pictured angels, faeries, "helpers", helping me get the energy back and then binding a shining "bandage" around my solar plexus, to keep it in my body until it integrated into my energy system again.

After the release, I was able to respond to her email in a different way than I could even have imagined before the release.

Another release was with a co-worker, who's been going through a hard time and "complaining" a lot. At first I imagined how I could positively deal with her energy...and then I realized I was trying to find a way to deal with the problem, rather than just getting rid of the problem.

So I did the cord release; then I remembered times she had been in a more positive mood and held that image strongly in my mind, until that became the way I "saw" her again. When our paths next crossed at work, she was in a light good mood, just as I had pictured her.

The more I do this, the more I CAN do this. Which is to say, if you feel awkward, or that you can't really "see" anything, it's just a learning curve. Keep at
it. Use your imagination. Let "variations on the theme" evolve that are personal and right for you.

I hope you find this useful!

    Blessings,

.. and your suggestions are strongly encouraged.

    So ...

... I "got the ball rolling" by posting the "quick process" given to my 'Ohana 26 year ago by Morrnah N. Simeona after a lifetime of practice and fine-tuning.

This is also the ceremony she taught to and performed at The United Nations many times.

    Enjoy!

LET THIS WATER CLEANSE, PURIFY AND RELEASE ME (US), offender and offended FROM SPIRITUAL, MENTAL, MATERIAL, FINANCIAL, AND KARMIC BONDAGE. (Note: The use of actual water is not necessary. A symbolic sprinkling gesture made with the hand will be sufficient to suggest water.)

SEVER, DETACH, UNTIE, AND RELEASE these unwanted memories and blocks.

Transmute These Unwanted Energies to “Pure Light”!

Fill the spaces these energies occupied with Divine Light.

Let “Divine Order,” Light, Love, Peace, Balance, Understanding, Joy, Wisdom and Abundance be made manifest for us through the Divine Power of the Divine Father, Creator of all life, Mother, Son as ONE, in whom we abide, rest, and have our being... NOW AND FOREVER MORE. AMEN.
