To Balance When There is Conflict.
Before time, there was I'o.
I’o is the infinite source of creation.
Also considered a God … “the God who created the Gods” … in some traditions, the name was considered too sacred to be spoken aloud.
In the Kumulipo … the Hawaiian “creation chant” … I'o is the un-manifest source that preceded creation, and from which the universe was created.
I’o is the “infinite potential” … the infinite source of creation.
The I’o Process is a simple and powerful technique for using the “infinite potential” of I’o for restoring balance. By doing this process you will gain new perspective ... create harmony ... smooth-out relationships ... and you can even turn an enemy into a friend.
It is always "win-win!"
Here is the basic process you can use when there is conflict with an individual.
You will imagine looking at the situation from three points-of-view.
1. Yours.
2. The other person’s.
3. And “rising above it all” … from the highest perspective.
Now …
The I’o Process
Begin your session.
Relax your body from head to toe.
Relax your mind.
Fully experience your point-of-view.
Begin your session.
Relax your body from head to toe.
Relax your mind.
Fully experience your point-of-view.
· What kind of person are you?
· What are your beliefs?
· What are the possible resolutions?
· What is happening?
· What is your state of mind?
Be totally “here” and pay attention to your positive intentions and your highest purpose for resolving this issue.
Record your experience.
Then …
Imagine “stepping out of yourself” …
… and going over … and “stepping into” the other person.
Imagine experiencing this different point-of-view as if you are them … remembering people always have positive reasons for their behavior and they are always making the best decisions they can with the resources they have available.
Fully experience their point-of-view.
· What kind of person are you?
· What are your beliefs?
· What are the possible resolutions?
· What is happening?
· What is your state of mind?
Be totally “here” and pay attention to your positive intentions and your highest purpose for resolving this issue.
Record your experience.
Then …
Imagine “stepping out of their body” …
… going out … and rising above it all.
Keep rising higher and higher until you reach the highest perspective …
… the “unlimited potential” of I’o.
Pretend as if you have become I’o and you are looking down at the two people from I’o’s point-of-view.
“As I’o” … take a deep breath, and inhale both people into you.
Allow the resolution to develop … or if nothing is reached consciously, then you can know the Universe will provide the answer.
Then exhale the individuals back down to earth.
Record your experiences.
Return to your body … and end your session feeling great.

I agree 100% with you. One must always see a situation from other people's perspective. In this way, they can learn something about themselves. Keep up your great teaching. Hooponopono is a wonderful healing technique.

Thank You. My teacher always said "take the High road and rise above it" Seeing it from the other person's perspective then rising above it is the thing to do.
Thank you.
I believe this is what my wonderful Kalehua talked about.
I was given this method through Divine Inspiration many years ago, used it often, then forgot it. Thank you for the reminder!!
uhh, nice post. sadly i have always struggled to put myself into others " shoes ".
I can feel compassion, but i have hard time to imagine to be other person :/
